(Ref: SUS2552)

£26,985 per annum

37.5 hours per week – contract to 30 June 2020 - based in Oban

Working with National Walking and Cycling Network (NWCN) partner organisations, this is an excellent opportunity to support the development and delivery of NWCN infrastructure projects, by leading on landowner engagement and feasibility work required to take forward strategic walking and cycling route connections that contribute to the completion of the NWCN, focussing initially on the Cross Scotland Pilgrim Way between Tyndrum and Oban.

Educated to a degree level or equivalent, you will have demonstrable experience of project management and successful partnership working. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to compile and write reports as well as analyse and critique. You will have good organisational skills, effective time management, the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload and to work independently. You will also have knowledge of walking and cycling routes in Scotland and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport. Given the location, you will be required to drive on occasion and a valid UK driving licence will be required.

Employment will be conditional on clearance by a PVG Disclosure check.

Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on Monday 14 January 2019. Interviews will take place in Oban on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
