We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Insight & Analytics team in our Edinburgh office.

The main focus of this role will be to support the development and delivery of data analysis and consultancy projects, for both internal teams and external clients.

To be successful in this role, you will have some understanding of the UK domestic energy policy context, energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies or water efficiency, and experience of using data in these contexts.

You will provide analysis, insight and statistical solutions by using various data sources for a spectrum of both internal and external clients. This will include collecting and analysing data for a number of Scottish Government energy databases, contributing to the delivery of other client projects, taking part in the ongoing review of EST’s current energy and cost saving data/models, as well as contributing to the wider development and delivery of consultancy services.

You will work with the current team to provide thoughtful, high quality data analysis, research and advice. You will be required to understand and critically evaluate new and existing information sources to ensure that the insight the organisation provides is robust and credible. This will include data from market research, academic, government and industry research reports, technical field trial data and data about the UK housing stock and energy demand.
