Could you bring your passion for volunteering to help people do more for, and get more from nature in Cheshire?

We’re looking for a candidate with strong volunteer management credentials to take a hands-on approach to developing our volunteering programme.

Nature is in trouble. We have lost more than half of our wildlife in the last 50 years. You’ll be part of a team that includes volunteers and staff working together to help nature’s recovery. Working on Natural Futures, our Heritage Lottery funded volunteering project, and supporting the volunteering needs of our area managers, you’ll look at different ways of involving volunteers and growing our volunteering base. Your ability to work across teams will be instrumental, sharing best practice and ensuring we're offering a great experience for our volunteers.

Working from our headquarters on our organic farm in South Cheshire, you’ll have had previous experience of the recruitment, management and support of volunteers, with a working knowledge of volunteering best practice. You’ll make sure that we get the right volunteers in the right place. Most of all you’ll be a people person who is motivated, enthusiastic, with great excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.

Calm and competent under pressure, unperturbed by the complexities of working across all areas of our organisation, you will have a can-do approach that will result in a diverse range of ways for people to give their time.

Closing date: Tuesday December 18th
