Fixed term full-time contract for 2 years

We are looking to recruit an experienced fisheries officer to support delivery of a European funded fisheries project. The project, which is part of a three-year habitat creation and improvement project funded by ERDF, will be delivered by a partnership group comprising of the lead partner (Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust) and delivery partners (Severn Trent Water, Severn Rivers Trust and Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West). This post will be line-managed by and based at the offices of the Severn Rivers Trust in Martley, Worcestershire.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working on habitat restoration and creation projects
  • River and wetland habitat management experience
  • A qualification in a land management related subject
