Salary: £22,405 to £27,033 depending on experience per year for a fixed term until March 2020

The primary focus of the job is to give advice - by phone and face-to-face - to our low-income clients on income maximisation and welfare benefits entitlement. This includes carrying out initial assessments and working with them to help them secure and retain these benefits.

The job also involves working with clients to map out their income and expenditure in order to access funding for measures such as new central heating systems, fridges etc.

We are looking for someone with a detailed knowledge of the current welfare benefits system and the issues affecting claimants.

Training on energy efficiency will be given.
