Office Administrator (Ref: SUS2520)

£19,540 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh

The exciting challenges of this new role will include the provision of effective administrative, operational and project support to the staff in Sustrans Scotland office in Edinburgh, being the first point of contact for stakeholders, partners and Scottish Government staff. The role also includes assisting teams with database support, report compiling, the shared electronic filing system, ensuring funding agreements are sent to partners and planning meetings. 

With a good standard of education, you will have experience of office administration systems, of handling and resolving enquiries from the general public, of scheduling diaries and booking travel, planning meetings and co-ordinating events, successfully working to deadlines using your time management skills. You will have good administration and organisational skills, good written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management. Previous experience in an office administrator’s role and the ability to remain calm under pressure would be an advantage. You will also have customer service awareness and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
