We believe a love of cycling is something to be shared. By learning the skills you need to be a leader or instructor you can help more people experience the joy of riding bikes.

We offer a suite of 16 courses, three are unique to Cycling UK. As part of our training package we also offer an accreditation in outdoor first aid, two maintenance courses and the only trail checking course within the UK.

This hugely exciting and challenging role will be one of two training Mangers that lead and inspire Cycling UK’s training offers and programmes across the UK. You will be responsible for implementing, developing and delivering the organisations training courses, ensuring high quality delivery of training courses to our clients and customers across the areas of Ride Leaders, Mountain Bike Leaders, National Standards Instructor Training and Bike Maintenance. 

This role will be based in Manchester and will manage our training programmes in the north of England, the role will also take a lead on developing and implementing our training offer to workplaces ensuing there is tie in with our Cycle Friendly Employer accreditation scheme.

Along with the Director of Behaviour Change and Development you will devise a monitoring system to ensure all data is captured from our courses and is used to demonstrate our impact across the UK. You will also work closely with the Heads of Development in England and Scotland to ensure training forms part of our behaviour change offer.
