Project Officer – Freshwater Snails, National Museum Cardiff

Contract: 21 Month contract. 35 hours per week.
Salary: Grade D: £22,624.12 – £28,567.87 (appointment will normally be to the minimum of the salary scale for this grade) 

Main purpose of the post:

To help deliver the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) funded project “Brought to the Surface: a New Beginning for Freshwater Snail Identification” as part of the project team. To assist in devising and delivering both the public engagement, and curatorial and research aspects of the project. By bringing this specialist subject to a wider audience, to help ensure that the project outputs and outcomes are achieved to time and budget.

The ability to communicate in Welsh or a willingness to learn is desirable.
