The Company seeking to appoint a Regional Manager to lead our team based in Risby.

Employed on a full time basis and reporting to the Head of Environmental Claims Management, the Regional Manager will be required to provide leadership and hold full responsibility for achieving financial targets, ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently and promoting and maintaining client strong relationships.

Regional Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full integration of Remediation Team and consultancy activities to ensure high standards of project delivery.
  • Provide effective leadership and promote positive culture leading to a strong and unified team.
  • Receive all new instructions for the team, determine appropriate response and allocate resources as appropriate;
  • Support Contracts Manager with Remediation Team operations including provision of First Strike emergency spill response;
  • Carry out all line management duties for consultants and Contracts Manager.
  • Supervise delivery of projects across team in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Monitor Aged WIP and Debt to ensure metrics kept within KPI limits.
  • Provide technical support and direction to consultants and assist with approach on projects;
  • Appoint, induct and lead training of all new team members;
  • Investigate and resolve client concerns and grievances & implement strategies to avoid reoccurrence of such issues.
  • Update and issue Look Forward schedule of a weekly basis.
  • Approval of Reports and monitoring of client correspondence.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients.
  • Attend Team Leaders meeting and contribute towards continued growth and success of the ECM Division;

Regional Manager Requirements:

  • Eight or more years’ experience working in Environmental Consultancy including extensive experience working on Contaminated Land or Environment Claims Management projects.
  • Experience in ground investigation, Contaminated Land risk assessment, and soil and groundwater remediation techniques is essential.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, contractors and clients at all levels is also essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Applicants must be able to adapt to an environment of growth.
  • Be prepared to travel to any location within the Company’s operational footprint.
