As statutory advisor on nature conservation to the UK Government and the Devolved Administrations, JNCC are looking for a Support Officer based in Peterborough. This is a temporary position to end June 2020.

The post holder is expected to provide scientific and technical support and administration to the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services team.

The post team will include maintaining an overview of work on natural capital and ecosystem services in each of the countries of the UK and UK Overseas Territories, as well as across the European Union and internationally. The Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Assistant is expected to provide support with meetings and contract management, support the IPBES UK Stakeholder Hub activities, undertake systematic collation and synthesis of information relevant to the BES Team, and manage the publication and dissemination of outputs.
