Do you have experience in communications? Would you like to work for a forward thinking and inspiring conservation charity? If so Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is seeking to appoint a Communications Officer as part of its dedicated Communications Team.

As Communications Officer you will help support the communications manager and be a valuable addition to the energetic communications team. You will help generate support for the Trust by creating engaging and impactful content. You will work alongside colleagues in the communications team to engage with the Trust’s supporters through different digital channels, social media platforms and updating the Trusts website to achieve consistency in messaging and increase recognition of YWT.

The post-holder will be responsible for writing and adapting high quality press releases to promote the Trust’s core messages as well as taking the lead on planning and production of Wildlife Yorkshire magazine. To be successful in this role you will be professional and confident to develop and manage relationships with key contacts. You will have the ability to work independently and use your own initiative but will be enthusiastic about sharing ideas as part of a diverse and creative team.
