London Wildlife Trust has an exciting opportunity for a talented Data and Supporter Services Officer with great CRM knowledge to join our passionate and dedicated development team based at our head office in Westminster.

A large amount of the Trust’s voluntary income is raised through Individual Giving programmes, including memberships, direct mail, digital, telephone, face-to-face fundraising and press advertising. As our Data and Supporter Services Officer you will play a key role in helping to grow this income and provide positive experiences for our supporters, through high quality data management, insights and analysis.

Working with the Trust’s development team, you will administer our existing Progress CRM database and also support the development and implementation of the Trust’s brand new ThankQ CRM database, which is vital to our supporter engagement strategy and membership growth.

The role will involve:

  • Being the first point of contact for supporters and members of the Trust
  • Maintaining efficient customer services by timely responses to all calls and correspondence from Trust supporters regarding their financial and membership contributions.
  • Administer all direct debit claims, lodgements and related BACS processes.
  • Delivering accurate collection and prompt recording of all membership and supporter income and activities – membership, donations, and other fundraising and membership initiatives – and timely welcoming and thanking

The candidate will have a genuine desire to work in the conservation sector and a commitment to London Wildlife Trust’s aims and values. They will:

  • Have extensive experience and knowledge of Excel
  • Have substantial and demonstrable knowledge of relational databases, preferably including Progress, ThankQ and other leading database packages.
  • Have excellent numeracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to explain complex data and technical information to non-experts.

London Wildlife Trust manages more than 35 nature reserves across the capital that are exemplars of urban conservation land management and which greatly benefit the local communities that use these sites. The Trust delivers projects focusing on protecting priority habitats and wildlife species in London and works to influence policy makers to support this work.
