Thames21 is the leading environmental charity for London’s waterways. We reconnect people to nature by helping them enjoy, protect and enhance their local rivers. We improve and restore rivers, educate and empower the community, and campaign for positive change for the good of people and the environment. This small, dynamic charity is recruiting for a key member of the team.

We are looking for a keen, flexible and self-motivated individual to deliver in partnership with Harrow Council, community volunteering and education activities in Headstone Manor Park, and Museum & Manor. The Outdoor and Learning Officer will plan and deliver community engagement activities to ensure the development of a sustainable volunteering programme. They will also develop and deliver an outdoor education programme for the park, and wildlife themed activities to complement the museum’s education programme.

This role will run in parallel with HLF Parks for People landscaping works being delivered by Harrow Council. This work aims to improve local water quality, reduce flash flooding, and create new habitats around Headstone Manor Park.
