Job Purpose: 

To provide a 24hr communications and information service, 365 days a year. Responsible for activating the correct Emergency/Incident procedures and responsible for ensuring correct information is directed to the correct Area, staff and external organisations. Support the planning, delivery, reporting and promotion of associated initiatives/activities and deliver national environmental protection and improvement priorities, as a core contribution to the delivery of national sustainable development.

This post will initially be a Mon-Fri office hours role and subject to Organisation Design and completion of ICC training, will be required to participate in the Incident Communication Centre (ICC) rota that involves working 12 hour shifts day, night and at weekends and will attract a 20% shift allowance when shift working commences.

Welsh Language Requirements:

Level 4 – Fluency in spoken welsh
