This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading sustainable resource management consultancy in the UK. We are contributing to the research behind policy and operational resource and waste issues that are shaping the future of the UK and international domestic and commercial resource management practices.

Founded in 2006, we are employee-owned with a 30-year heritage in the waste and resources industry. Our brand is built around being forward-thinking and looking for continuous improvement in the services we provide. We are part of the B Corp movement and take an ethical approach to business to make a positive difference in the world.

About the role

Resource Futures is a growing business and we are expanding our consultancy team working in international projects. We are looking for an ambitious creative thinker who is keen to develop skills on projects tackling waste and resources issues in low and middle-income countries. You will bring excellent research and analytical skills to varied work across our resource efficiency workstreams.

You will form part of the Resource Futures consultancy team based in our head office in Bristol working closely with the Head of our international waste and development projects.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to work with wide range of customers in the UK and globally including:

  • National Governments on assessing and informing policy development
  • Local Government projects improving waste and recycling services
  • Global corporations on implementing circular economy business models
  • Third sector organisations and NGOs working in collaboration with public and private partners to implement innovative disruptive new operations and practices

You will be involved in all aspects of consultancy work from compiling tenders, developing research methodologies, conducting technical research and producing and presenting reports and outputs to customers and sector audiences.

We are looking for a driven, dynamic ambitious individual who wants to join a consultancy that takes evidence-based research to work collaboratively with customers to deliver outputs that make a positive difference. If you want to make a real difference in how people’s lives are enhanced through effective waste and resource management policies and practices in the UK and internationally take a look at the detailed job description and complete the application form.
