About the role

Resource Futures is a growing business and we are expanding our consultancy team. We are looking for a creative thinker who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a thriving and ambitious company as a consultant. You will bring excellent research and analytical skills to varied work across sustainable circular economy projects in Scotland the UK and globally.

You will form part of the Resource Futures Scotland based team supporting both the resource efficiency and engagement delivery work we do. In particular, the projects you work on are likely to fall within the circular economy and communications workstreams. The role will provide you with the opportunity to work with wide range of customers including:

  • National Governments on informing policy formation e.g. deposit return systems
  • Local Government projects improving waste and recycling services
  • Global corporations on implementing circular economy business models
  • Locations across the UK and internationally
  • Third sector organisations working in collaboration with public and private partners to implement innovative disruptive new operations and practices

You will be involved in all aspects of consultancy work from compiling tenders, developing research methodologies, conducting technical research and producing and presenting reports and outputs to customers and sector audiences. We are looking for a driven, dynamic ambitious individual who want to join a consultancy that takes evidence-based research to work collaboratively with customers to deliver outputs that make a positive difference.
