Do you have the skills and knowledge to play a key role in Recovering Surrey’s Nature?

Surrey Wildlife Trust is seeking a technical GIS Officer with excellent MapInfo skills and a good knowledge of species and habitats.

This role is central to the Research & Monitoring activity which underpins the Trust’s new Strategic Plan, Recovering Surrey’s Nature 2018 – 23.

It is critical that we are able to accurately assess the impact of our activities in order to inform the decisions we take and to assist us in encouraging others to do the same. This is set against a backdrop of the recent State of Surrey’s Nature report which showed a third of species in Surrey extinct or in decline.

This is an opportunity for an early career GIS specialist who is passionate about using their skills to make a difference for biodiversity in Surrey.

If you have the skills we need, please refer to the full job profile and complete the Application Form on our website www.surreywildlifetrust.org. For an informal conversation regarding this post please contact Matthew Guilliatt on matthew.guilliatt@surreywt.org.uk or 01483 795480.

Closing Date: 5pm Friday 31st August 2018; interviews 12th September.

Surrey Wildlife Trust is dedicated to protecting Surrey’s wildlife.
