Senior Engineer

£30,750 per annum (Ref: SUS2467)

Up to 37.5 hours per week – based in Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol

This is an excellent opportunity to support the provision of strategic direction and professional leadership to all aspects of Sustrans infrastructure and estates management work.

With a minimum of an HNC in civil engineering or equivalent, or previous experience in a related field, you will have experience of the design and delivery of cycle and walking facilities, be experienced in the production of technical drawings and specifications and in civil engineering contract management. With experience in project management, delivery and implementation, you will be IT literate, an experienced report writer and be familiar with cycling and walking design guidance. Your strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build successful working relationships, as well as your ability to prioritise and manage your own workload, will be crucial to your success in this role.
