Are you looking for a new challenge? Want to make your mark at a landscape scale? An excellent opportunity has arisen in Warwickshire to lead on a significant landscape habitat restoration and people engagement scheme. Join our enthusiastic team who are making this happen on the ground.

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is implementing the Bigger, Better, More and Joined up approach to landscape scale conservation to achieve Living Landscapes, a long term vision. We are the leading locally based wildlife charity in the county.

We are seeking an inspiring individual to lead and manage the delivery of the Dunsmore Living Landscape Scheme, with main funding of over £1 million raised by The National Lottery and awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This funding is a major phase in a long term vision for the area.

You will manage three staff, a budget of ~ £250k per year and be responsible for the overall delivery of the Dunsmore Living Landscape Scheme.

You will need to demonstrate knowledge of woodlands, hedgerows and grasslands habitats, hold a degree or equivalent experience in ecological discipline, and show commitment to engaging a range of communities in wildlife conservation and access improvements. You will need proven experience in delivering quality projects, and have good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

We welcome applicants from across all sectors of the community. Our belief is that all people, regardless of their background, heritage or personal circumstances, are people first.
