I Bike Officer, West Lothian

£24,204 per annum

37.5 hours per week – 12 month contract - based within West Lothian

The main responsibilities of this role will include the delivery of the I Bike project to school clusters within West Lothian Council areas, to promote active travel (cycling, scooting and walking) to and from school and for independent journeys in leisure time, supporting staff and volunteers in the promotion of active travel within the school community i.e. ‘school champions’.

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent or relevant experience and committed to cycling and promotion of sustainable transport, you will have experience of working with children and young people excellent communication and presentation skills, be IT literate and have the ability to enthuse and motivate others. Experience of partnership working within a community-based or environmental project is also essential. Membership of the PVG Scheme is mandatory for this post.
