SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
RIVINGTON TERRACED GARDENS
Based in Wigan with frequent travel to the Rivington area.
36.25 hours per week
Project funded for 15 months (currently)
Salary £18,803

Primary Purpose of the job:

To support the delivery of the Activity Plan for the Rivington Terraced Gardens Heritage Lottery project, taking joint ownership of its goals and outcomes. To support the delivery of a diverse and accessible range of events and volunteering opportunities within the Gardens.

The post holder will have experience of working with local communities to deliver conservation or heritage activities and an ability to communicate and motivate local people and community groups. Experience of working in heritage sensitive locations will be advantageous. Experience of effective partnership working and the ability to manage a number of differing and complex activities within an overall project objective would also be advantageous.
