This is a unique opportunity to work in a diverse and exciting environment. The Bookings Coordinator role is part of the Operations and Projects team, which provides a hub of administrative, booking and operational support for the Learning and Participation department.

This role has a multi-channel brief, which includes the Formal Learning programme: a broad curriculum linked programme for visiting schools (90,000+ participants per annum) and a thriving community, family and guide programme alongside other programmes and projects.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in customer service with excellent booking management experience. The role requires an organised, flexible team player with excellent communication skills and proven expertise of bookings and administration.

Enthusiastic about Kew’s mission and adaptable with excellent multi-tasking and planning skills, you will be pivotal in enabling us to provide high quality learning and engagement for Kew’s visiting public.

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS), with a barred list check.

Interviews are planned for 3 and 6 August 2018

Our successful candidates will start at the end of August.

Salary will be Full-time £21,001 per annum, Part-time £21,001 per annum. The salary for this position will be pro-rated for 23.4 hours per week, 0.65 of our FTE. Please note: this is an annualised hour’s contract and the following will apply:

  • We operate all year round.
  • Number of working days per week, will vary from quieter to busy times – this may mean you may work 4 days during busier times and 1-2 day in school holidays.
  • Flexible working pattern dependent on the key areas of work.
  • Holidays to be taken in school holidays.
  • Typical working hours 6.5 – 7.5 hours.
