An exciting opportunity has arisen for a policy and advocacy manager to join our team to increase our impact and support the expansion of our networks.

Regen has a clear goal – accelerating the transition to a decarbonised, decentralised and democratic energy system. Our members are at the heart of this transition and as a dedicated policy and advocacy manager, you will be an integral part of achieving this.

Key responsibilities and experience:

The successful candidate will have proven extensive, relevant experience:

  • analysing policy and developing policy positions;
  • effective advocacy of policy positions to policy makers (for example through a trade association, campaign group or working for an MP);
  • liaising with senior business people to coordinate policy positions (ideally working in a membership context);
  • knowledge of energy policy issues, with a particular focus on decentralised, smart energy;
  • consultancy experience, responding to client briefs, producing deliverables to time and quality managing projects;
  • ability to network, develop relationships and work with senior individuals across a range of organisations and internally

Salary: Circa £28-36k
