Project Manager (Waste Services)
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract
Location: London

Keep Britain Tidy is an iconic and dynamic charity, providing first-class solutions to environmental challenges. For more than 60 years, we have campaigned for cleaner, greener places. As the country’s leading anti-litter charity, we work tirelessly to combat waste and neglect so that everyone can love where they live. Using our world-class research and working with partners, we develop game-changing programmes that fly the flag for clean, accessible and attractive beaches, parks and green spaces and are proud to inspire and educate millions of children. The work of Keep Britain Tidy has never been more informed, important and urgent.

We are looking for an outstanding Project Manager to join our Waste Services team and play a pivotal role in our work to end waste. The Waste Services team works with local authorities, waste contractors, housing providers and other organisations to help reduce, reuse and recycle waste. We do this through community engagement programmes, marketing communications, consultancy work, staff provision and staff training. We also deliver services to monitor and evaluate the impact of waste and recycling schemes and initiatives.

Our portfolio of projects is extremely varied and our work is fast paced. In the past year alone we have delivered campaigns to increase recycling and reduce waste using face-to-face engagement with people at the doorstep and at public events, assessed and mapped waste and recycling provisions and researched behaviour using surveys and focus groups. We market our services across England and Wales and currently deliver projects in the North West and London.

As one of three Project Managers in the team, you will be required to manage multiple projects at any one time and ensure they are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget. You will be based in London but with regular regional travel.

As part of our investment in staff the successful candidate will be supported to work towards CIWM Chartered Waste Manager status.
