Are you passionate about engaging communities in environmental conservation projects? Do you have experience in leading groups of volunteers as they carry out conservation tasks? Can you inspire people from all backgrounds to get involved in caring for their local wildlife?

We are looking to recruit an outgoing people-person who can bring the best out of volunteers, and help people do more for wildlife on our nature reserves and in their local community.

The Community Conservation Co-ordinator will be responsible for planning and leading community engagement work on our nature reserves, with a particular focus on the Wirral and Cheshire West and Chester. There will also be opportunity to help other groups in Cheshire who are managing their own wildlife areas.

To be a successful candidate, you must be organised, proactive and enthusiastic, great with people, and an excellent communicator. You will also need to be confident in delivering training to members of the public, and capable of leading groups of volunteers to carry out practical conservation work.

HOURS: 35 hours per week (full time)
CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months (commencing from contract start date)
SALARY: £18,000 - £20,000 p.a. depending on experience
WORKING BASE:  Bickley Hall Farm, Malpas, Cheshire
