Your Mission

Your mission will be to accelerate impact through organising, planning and providing administrative support for an ambitious team. You will join a team who is cultivating learning and communities for systems change, both internally at Forum and externally through different platforms and projects, (examples are the School of System Change, #oneless, Civil Society Futures) so as to equip ourselves and others with the capabilities to address complex sustainability challenges.

You will be:

  • Supporting the coordination of a team of 6-8 people working on multiple projects
  • Supporting building relationships with key partners, including funders, and project participants
  • Providing administrative and logistics support for workshops, events, retreats, learning experiences
  • Liaising with finance team for rigorous budget management
  • Providing PA support for the Team Director

  • You value organisation and structure, whilst being collaborative and adaptable. You are reliable and follow through on the things you say you will do.
  • You enjoy working with a diverse set of people who are working in different geographies and have experience of supporting teams.
  • You are curious about systems change and are an aspiring systems thinker who loves to find out how things work, naturally making connections between unlikely things and understanding how they fit into the bigger picture.
  • You are a natural and confident communicator and enjoy talking to anyone about anything, embracing both things you know and don’t, while demonstrating professionalism towards sensitive and confidential information.
  • You have a range of practical and creative approaches up your sleeve, and know what to bring to bear for the latest challenge, whether you’re making a presentation, making plans, supporting people or planning travel.
  • You’re not fazed by anything - including managing your time, other people's diaries, navigating complex travel arrangements and you bring a can do entrepreneurial spirit to your work.
  • You understand Forum’s mission and you’re already seeing several ways your skills can help us get there, you want to be part of a team who is self-organising and exploring new ways of working.
  • You might have a background in administration, event organising, finance, communications … or, you might be the surprise we’ve been waiting for.
