The Role

Are you an experienced Account Manager who wants to contribute to the world in a positive way? Do you have excellent customer service skills, with a love for maintaining client relationships, but feel that your current role doesn’t challenge you enough?

Paper Round, an ethical, fast-growing resource management company are looking for a candidate who would answer YES to the above, to join our exceptional team during an exciting period of change and growth. As a Senior Account Manager, you will help us by taking care of some of our largest customers, many of whom are household names and work in some of London’s most iconic buildings.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the named point of contact for a selection of our largest customers and responsible for managing these relationships. The role will have you out and about conducting meetings, to ensure that your clients receive the best possible service and reach their recycling and waste management targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with your accounts on a day to day basis via, phone, email and face to face meetings.
  • Develop strong business relationships to allow you to work with your accounts and meet their environmental goals. You will work pro-actively to improve the service on site and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Taking a strategic approach to account management and identifying key stakeholders and opportunities within your accounts and develop these to increase the value of your portfolio.
  • Work closely with our Operations team and Helpdesk to ensure your accounts receive an excellent level of customer service and that any issues are resolved quickly and KPIs achieved.
  • You will manage negotiations around price reviews with your clients.

The Person

As a Senior Account Manager you will have;

  • The ability to react quickly and efficiently to ever changing customer requests. Balancing a workload that requires you to manage your time effectively to ensure efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to adapt your approach and style to appeal to a range of people.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Be commercially minded, with a good understanding of profitability and enjoy closing deals.
  • Ability to be highly autonomous and self-motivated
  • An interest in the environment and willingness to learn more about current sustainability issues and discuss these with your clients and colleagues.
  • Good and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
