Friends of the Earth Scotland is looking for a Parliamentary Officer to join  our friendly and successful team in Edinburgh. This is a key role aimed at deepening our political engagement.

You will work closely with the FoE Scotland Director, Head of Campaigns and Campaigners, and will initially focus on the new climate bill as it makes its way though the Scottish Parliament.

You will be an excellent communicator, with a flair for policy and sound political judgement. You will have direct experience working in the Scottish Parliament or Government, or will have held a relevant policy or parliamentary role within an organisation. You will have a naturally collaborative working style, and will thrive in a growing, dynamic and creative team. You will be motivated by our vision for a world in which everyone has a healthy environment and a fair share of the world’s resources.

This is a full-time (5 days per week) role with some flexible working required.
