Froglife is a national wildlife conservation organisation with a specific focus on the protection of amphibians and reptiles, and their habitats.

Thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, Froglife is seeking to recruit a Development Manager with a conservation & education background to develop our new Come Forth for Wildlife project in the Forth region. This post will require travel and overnight stays.

Development Manager Full-time 5x days per week (flexibility is essential)
Location: Flexible within the Forth Valley region
Contract: 9 months
Salary: £30,000 pro rata

Based in the Forth Valley region the Development Manager will be responsible for developing all of the educational activities identified in the development grant application for the Come Forth for Wildlife project. Please refer to the job description for details of the educational activities and targets. The Development Manager will be responsible for the writing up of a comprehensive Activity Plan with supporting Appendices. It is the Development Manager’s responsibility to ensure that all of the development work is completed in time to ensure that the application for a Delivery grant is ready for submission at the end of the nine month period.

This role requires an experienced person with either experience in developing similar large scale projects or someone who has a proven track record of project delivery that has included developing new areas of work. We will require evidence of relevant experience.
