We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual with a passion for supporting people to try cycling for everyday journeys.

Big Bike Revival Scotland – Communication Manager

Purpose of Role

To develop and deliver the Big Bike Revival Scotland Communications Plan.

Scope of Role

To help deliver the award winning Big Bike Revival for the third time in Scotland by developing and delivering the project communications plan for 2018/9; the project will engage bike recycling centres, social enterprises, bike shops and community groups to facilitate a programme of targeted events throughout the summer months. Funded by Scottish Government the initiative aims to support more people in Scotland to get cycling by encouraging the general public to revive their unused bikes and take up cycling opportunities in their local area and beyond.

Working with the Bike Big Revival Scotland Project Manager and strategic partners, such as Sustrans and Cycling Scotland, you will deliver the communications plan that drives this highly visible social marketing intervention. Working closely with Cycling UK colleagues, national active travel partners and local stakeholders you will be enabling over 20,000 people to get cycling.
