Energy Saving Trust is looking for a collaborative and result-driven Assistant Programme Manager with impressive people skills to support the management of Energy Saving Trust’s Scottish transport workplan, on behalf of Transport Scotland.

About this key role

Reporting to the Programme Manager – Challenge Fund, our successful candidate will work closely with the Energy Saving Trust team and Transport Scotland to ensure the effective management of the administration and reporting of the pedal-assisted electric bike grant programme, plus engage with public sector organisations across Scotland to promote the programme.

You will also be expected to produce monthly reporting and analysis on all key activity metrics and undertake financial administration and management to support the delivery of a range of transport programmes. Working with colleagues in other teams and across EST to support the delivery of other transport programmes is also a vital element of the role.

What we are looking for 

A graduate in a relevant discipline, you will have sound knowledge of electric and low carbon vehicles and of the environmental impact of transport, plus experience of managing grant / and or loan administration. You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with first-class interpersonal, organisational and IT skills, while project management experience is also vital.
