ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Associate Director to support our growing professional sustainability consultancy team. This position offers a very exciting opportunity to work with high profile blue chip companies delivering a broad spectrum of sustainability services, as well as providing possible secondment opportunities with our clients. EVORA is an independent, pan-European sustainability consultancy specialising in the commercial real estate sector. We also have our proprietary sustainability management software, SIERA, as well as a technical engineering division, EVORA EDGE. Our clients include Schroder Real Estate, Standard Life and Deutsche Bank.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Client account and programme management
  • Depth of technical knowledge of sustainability issues and application to real estate
  • EMS development and operation to ISO certification levels
  • Regulatory and voluntary reporting, e.g. CRC, GRESB, CDP
  • Lead on the management of large European environmental data management programmes
  • Support in business development
  • Strategic and tactical input to the development of new products and services

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

The right candidate must have the following essential skills:

  • Degree or Masters in related subject & membership of an appropriate and recognised professional body (e.g. IEMA practitioner/full member)     
  • Detailed understanding of environmental legislation
  • Experience of managing pan-European clients desirable but not essential
  • Fluency in German/French desirable but not essential
  • Technically able to complete energy audits desirable but not essential
  • Highly articulate and numerate
  • Strong people management skills
  • Advanced IT skills
