Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. We are now looking for a key individual to become part of our team in Scotland. 

Project Coordinator, Bike Life, Scotland  (Ref: SUS2361)

£24,586 – £26,717 pa (dependent on relevant skills and experience)

37.5 hours per week – initial fixed term contract to 30 June 2020

The exciting challenges of this role include the successful planning, implementation and delivery of the Bike Life Scotland project in multiple locations across the country. This work will be integrated with Sustrans Scotland other programmes to maximise the impact of urban focused work.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of project management, including delivering on time and within budget, of successful working with a wide range of external partners and communications including sourcing and writing engaging content for reports, social media and press releases. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, networking and presentation skills are essential as is your IT literacy, knowledge of local and Scottish Government policies and context for active travel in Scotland and understanding of the important of research led evidence to support behaviour change. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
