Paid • Part Time • Permanent 01844 355506 Claire Readey

Closing date: Friday, 6th April 2018

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Communications Officer at the Chilterns Conservation Board, the independent body established to conserve and enhance the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

This is a fantastic chance to join a dedicated team and contribute to ambitious plans which will ensure the AONB is understood, appreciated and cared for, both now, and in the future.

The Communications Officer will work closely with the Development Manager to plan, prioritise and deliver an inspirational communications plan which significantly grows the number of people reached by CCB communications and influences and builds support with key stakeholders.

The immediate priority will be to deliver robust communications which support the creation of our Management Plan. This core strategic project is a real opportunity for the successful candidate to influence and engage with some 1.6 million people who live within 8km of the AONB.

We are looking for an ambitious and creative communications professional who is able to plan, resource and deliver a powerful public communications programme with limited resources.

You should have previous experience in planning and delivering inspirational communications and ideally have an understanding of, and interest in, environmental issues.

Please visit our website for a vacancy pack, including job description and person specification, more information about the Chilterns AONB, the Board and the work we do.

For an informal telephone conversation about the role, please contact Claire Readey on 01844 355506. *Applicants are respectfully requested not to drop in to the Chinnor office. Thank you*
