Business Developer for One Click LCA in the UK

Are you a highly motivated, ambitious, and passionate sales specialist who believes that a quick and effective response is the secret to successful sales?

We are currently looking for a Business Developer to join our diverse and international team. You will be based in the United Kingdom, preferably at an easy commuting distance to major economic hubs.

This position is tailored to person with working experience in the construction industry and/or related to the LCA field in this industry.

We are looking for somebody who strongly believes in sustainability and wants to contribute to making the construction industry greener.

Who you are

As a person you are:

  • Hungry for knowledge and growth, with a get-it-done attitude
  • Motivated by the thrill of closing a sale and capable of setting realistic but ambitious sales targets
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting product demos
  • Able to learn new things quickly and to work independently
  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages, especially Nordic languages, French or German, is considered an asset
  • Able to understand and learn about the construction design/green building software market, the users and their needs, including the green building certification tools

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Good knowledge of B2B sales processes and sales strategies
  • Autonomy, business drive, strong rigor in the workplace
  • Ease at negotiation and commercial relations
  • Proven ability in converting incoming contacts and inquiries to sales over email, phone, and chat, transforming prospects into customers
  • Knowledge on how to persuade prospects with the necessary, often detailed, information that is needed for them to allow purchase, via email, phone or ad-hoc webinars or demos
  • Capacity to engage in both business and technical discussions on how to leverage BIM, quantity take-offs and other data sources to automate green building analysis for building design and green building certification with One Click LCA.
