We are looking for someone with bags of enthusiasm who can lead our events and community activities in Perth and Kinross, Dundee, Angus and Fife. You will enthuse people about our work to protect local wildlife, including corn buntings, seabirds and waders.

Working with partners, staff and volunteers you will engage people about the work of the RSPB, inspiring them to support our work through membership, volunteering and donations. You will manage our Community Learning Officer and community fundraising volunteers and have the ability to work either alone or as part of a small busy team.

An excellent communicator you will have a proven record of writing for social and traditional media. An instinctive and innovative people person you will liaise with conservation staff to run activities and events across the region and you will be responsible for managing and delivering walks, as part of partnership projects, showing people sea eagles and black grouse.

It is essential that you have a clean and full UK driving license as you will be provided with a van to cover all travel within the role. The RSPB is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to the appropriate safeguarding checks upon appointment.
