Learning through Landscapes has over 25 years experience of delivering projects and programmes to schools and settings throughout the UK. LTL has a well established, committed and passionate team of delivery staff working on a variety of different projects and is now looking to appoint an experienced trainer to join the Local School Nature Grants team. This project is funded by the Postcode Local Lottery Small Grants Programme.

We are looking for someone based around the Midlands area to deliver training sessions to selected schools in central and northern areas of the UK who are interested in the use of school grounds for biodiversity projects, sustainability projects and other learning and play programmes. This will include training sessions for teachers, support staff, governors, parents, early years practitioners and school grounds professionals. This person will be passionate about the outdoors, be able to work flexibly and on their own initiative, and have excellent communication skills and a common sense attitude.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of developing and delivering training or professional development for adults and must show a commitment to learning outside the classroom. The ability and willingness to travel is essential, therefore a full driving licence and use of a car is a requirement of the post.

This is a term time only post, 37 hours per week.
