Cumbria Wildlife Trust is seeking to appoint a Seasonal Warden for Rockcliffe Marsh, the Trust’s largest nature reserve located on the Solway Firth in North Cumbria.

The contract will start on the 9 April 2018 and run for approximately 15 weeks (until around the 20 July 2018).

42 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the post include monitoring breeding gulls, waders and passerines, liaising with the Estate and producing an end of breeding season report. Good communication skills and knowledge of coastal birds are therefore essential. There will also be a requirement to assist in drawing up and carrying out monitoring protocols for recently created habitats on the marsh.
