The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to play an important role in helping to protect and enhance Oxfordshire’s biodiversity.

You will be providing ecological advice to the planning authority on a day to day basis to ensure ecology is considered in the planning process. The role also requires you to visit sites to undertake survey work to inform decision making and inform land management decisions. You will be involved in a range of exciting partnership projects such as Oxford Swift City and work closely with partners to protect and enhance Oxford and Oxfordshire’s biodiversity.

We are looking for a pragmatic, solutions-focused and partner-orientated professional to join our Environmental Quality team. You will become part of an innovative and supportive team who works across a range of subjects to deliver a better environment for all.
