Learning through Landscapes is the national school grounds charity with over 25 years experience of delivering projects and programmes to schools and settings throughout the UK. LTL has a well established, committed and passionate team of delivery staff working on a variety of exciting projects and is currently seeking an experienced trainer to provide maternity cover for the Local School Nature Grants team. This project is funded by the Postcode Local Lottery Small Grants Programme.

The Training and Development Officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of training to those interested in the use of school grounds for biodiversity projects, sustainability projects and other learning and play programmes. This will include teachers, support staff, governors, parents, early years practitioners and school grounds professionals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of developing and delivering training or professional development for adults and must show a commitment to learning outside the classroom. The ability and willingness to travel around central and southern England is essential, therefore a full driving licence and use of a car is a requirement of the post.

This is a term time only post, 37 hours per week.
