This job is for you if you want to help inspire and empower more communities and volunteers across Cardiff to help save nature.

You'll be keen to share your enthusiasm for nature with both RSPB and community volunteers, including families and local groups, keen to volunteer more of their time to help make their local area more nature friendly.

As a member of the Giving Nature a Home in Cardiff Team; RSPB Cymru’s flagship public engagement project in Wales, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering a year round programme of events and activities for volunteers, helping to motivate, up-skill and enable volunteers to do more for nature.

You'll spend a lot of your time out and about with volunteers during holiday periods and at weekends getting hands on and practical, working closely with the City of Cardiff Council and Buglife, as our project partners.

You’ll be confident and charismatic; able to lead and inspire volunteers to go the extra mile. You’ll be proactive working with our partners to maximise volunteering opportunities, an excellent team player, extremely organised and with bags of initiative.

You’ll help to sustain and grow our long term relationships within the volunteer sector and be capable of planning, delivering and managing high quality volunteer experiences, including the line management of RSPB volunteers and voluntary interns, ensuring all are able to excel in their roles.
