Senior Business Development Coordinator (Ref: SUS2331)

£24,586 - £27,928 pro rata per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience)

22.5 hours per week – job share - based in central Bristol

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans, the UK's leading charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. The role would suit a creative and highly organised administrator or project officer who is looking to expand existing skills in project management and facilitation of business development activities and become pivotal in driving change through systems improvement. You will also manage our library of resources for use in applications, bids and tenders.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, with proven experience of managing tender/bid management systems and business intelligence systems, you will have experience of undertaking rigorous quality assurance and compliance checks and of writing, editing and presenting documents. You will also have strong verbal and written communications skills, a meticulous eye for detail, excellent time management and organisation skills, strong research and analytical skills and confidence in liaising with senior managers. You will have familiarity with the legal issues that relate to Sustrans project delivery, an understanding of project management and other organisational systems, excellent IT skills and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
