Campaigns Officer – Based in Guildford
£26,000pa on a fixed term full time contract for one year.

Cycling UK is the national cycling charity. We campaign nationally and locally for safe and attractive cycling conditions, as well as promoting cycling in all its forms for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through our local volunteer groups and nationally co-ordinated projects.

The post-holder will work on all of Cycling UK’s campaigns on and off-road which include road safety, infrastructure and off-road access campaigns, all aimed at removing barriers to cycling. The role includes lead responsibility for liaising with volunteer campaigners with a view to building up our volunteer campaigning capacity.

The post requires excellent written, interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to grasp legal issues and communicate them clearly being an advantage. If you’ve got the political nous, campaigning skills and enthusiasm to champion cycling and get the UK cycling then we want to hear from you.
