Project Manager (Litter and Place Services)

Location: London

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Full time - 37.5 hours per week

Using our world-class research and working with partners, we develop game-changing programmes that fly the flag for clean, accessible and attractive beaches, parks and green spaces and are proud to inspire and educate millions of children through our Eco-schools programme. The work of Keep Britain Tidy has never been more informed, important and urgent.

Keep Britain Tidy, is looking for an outstanding Project Manager to join its Litter and Place Services team. The Litter and Place Services team works to generate local, regional and national support for Keep Britain Tidy through the development and delivery of client focused solutions to land and greenspace managers and others with a need for Keep Britain Tidy’s services and solutions. A main feature of this role is to deliver on the ground independent surveys and consultancy and advice to those who manage land, such as Local Authorities and Housing Associations. Other projects to support include membership to the Keep Britain Tidy Network, training and packaged solutions to local environmental issues.

The successful candidate will have a willingness to work across London and others parts of England and to spend periods of time away from home as required for survey work or special events. The role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience of report writing and presenting. Ideally they will have experience of managing relationships with clients through business development, project delivery and re-commissioning work with clients.
