  • Graduate level role within the Promar Environment Team contributing to the successful delivery of environmental consultancy projects.
  • Assist in the opportunities for developing projects through networks and tendering opportunities.
  • Assist and support the construction tender responses which would include building experience on devising methodologies, commercial costing, bid writing and presenting in a timely professional manner.
  • Have knowledge of the industry and activities which are relevant for the work of Promar.
  • Contribute to tender submissions and supporting the wider business development activities eg networking events.
  • Conduct detailed on-site data collection, completion of desk research and production of data analysis in an efficient manner and to a high standard.
  • Undertake interviews with relevant stakeholders and organisations in the environmental sector.
  • Be able to work well within a team and be self-motivated to work on an individual basis.
  • Be well organised, have excellent time management skills, good eye for detail, energetic and highly motivated.
  • Have the ability to evaluate and interpret data and feedback to the Environment Team.
  • Be solution-orientated with a creative approach and producing technical reports for projects which outline the approach, findings, conclusions and key recommendations.


  • Educated to degree level (Environmental Sciences or similar) ideally with an interest in agriculture and the food supply chain.
  • Experience of working in a consultancy environment working on projects relevant to the UK agriculture and good industry is desirable.
  • Demonstrate experience of supporting project delivery, working towards budgets, time and to a high level of quality.
  • Confidently communicate with both internal and external customers and developing excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to travel within the UK and internationally as/ when required is an essential requirement of the role.
  • A high level of computer literacy of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and experience of using GIS would be beneficial.
  • Experience of preparing technical reports and undertaking complex data analysis.
