£25,500; seasonal fixed term position for seven months starting in early April 2018; full-time; 35 hours per week; Based at Beechcroft House, Curdridge, Hampshire, SO32 2DP.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is the leading local nature conservation charity and is one of the largest of the county-based Wildlife Trusts with a lively, dedicated and passionate team of 76 staff and 1400 volunteers.

We are looking for an individual keen to develop a career in conservation to join Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’s ecological consultancy team: Arcadian Ecology. The successful applicant will carry out ecological survey and monitoring projects for the Trust and external clients. The post holder will be expected to have experience of field survey work (including phase 1, bats, great crested newts, dormice, and hold relevant protected species licenses) data collection and collation, data analysis, reporting, use of geographical information systems (GIS), equipment maintenance and team working.
