PGL is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and study courses for young people.

Our beautiful outdoor activity centres on the Dorset coast and on the Isle of Wight have vacancies for Field Studies Instructors.

The centres provide a spectacular location for taking the National Curriculum out of the classroom. As a PGL Field Studies Instructor, you will have the opportunity to bring the natural world to life introducing our guests to concepts of learning, using the outside world as your classroom.

Using knowledge from your degree in Geology, Geography, Biology, Science, or other relevant discipline, you will use the centre and the surrounding locations to deliver field studies sessions.

This role is ideal for anyone considering a future in teaching. The scope for personal development is almost limitless as you'll learn and lead sessions for all ages of school group in subjects ranging from geology and urban geography to alternative technologies.

As a Field Studies Instructor, you'll benefit from a competitive wage, accommodation and meals packages, free uniform, training, and a great entry on your CV.

Experienced staff can earn £12,121-15,724 pa. Meals and accommodation available.

We offer seasonal contracts with flexible lengths, starting in January and February 2017.
