Vacancy: Project Officer – Scottish Invasives Species Initiative (SISI)

Full time (40 hours per week)
Fixed 4 year term
Salary: £25,000 per year (6% employer pension contribution)
Based at Brechin Castle, Brechin (Esk DSFB Office) covering Tayside and Angus

The Esk District Salmon Fishery Board has a vacancy for a Project Officer on the SISI Project. This 4 year project will help protect local biodiversity from the spread of Invasive Non-Native Species, such as Giant Hogweed, Japanese knotweed, and American Mink. The successful applicant will be based in the Esk DSFB office in Brechin, and reporting to a Project Manager. The job entails developing effective communications and partnerships with local landowners, community groups, farmers and other stakeholders to deliver the project aims.
