Wakehurst is part of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew a world-leader in plant and fungal conservation and science, with learning at the core. Schools are integral to our work and vision, with a broad curriculum linked programme for visiting schools which spans Reception, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education (9,000 participants per annum). Our aim to build, inspire and develop lifelong connections with the natural world.

We are looking for experienced and innovative educators, proven delivery experience and a passion for outdoor learning for all.

The role requires creative, organised, flexible and inspirational team players with a good knowledge of the national curriculum across the key stages and the natural environment.

This role is seasonal and on a zero-hours basis; the majority of the work is from March to October during school term times.

Salary will be £24,965 per annum pro rata depending on hours worked. Benefits include competitive annual leave allowance, excellent pension, a flexible benefits scheme, as well as a great working environment.
