Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire

Job Type: Full Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role:

As a Supplier Manager you will be responsible for ensuring development and delivery of supplier management strategy which maximises value and ensures service quality.


  • Formulation and implementation of annual supplier management business strategy
  • Management of the product range for EnviroSolutions
  • Development and delivery of commercial models to drive growth
  • Develop the EnviroSolutions supplier management strategy, articulate clearly the team objectives and work collaboratively to share knowledge & achieve goals
  • Develop & implement cost and service based supplier management strategies capable of delivering annual targets
  • Identify and deliver innovation to develop future growth
  • Manage supplier management quoting, contracting, onboarding and supplier performance processes
  • Ensure appropriate contracts are in place with suppliers and that suppliers are meeting
  • Source best pricing and service from existing and new suppliers
  • Strong commercial negotiations with suppliers throughout the year and especially in line with annual industry price increases
  • Support the business development team on large and complex business opportunities
  • Work in a collaborative manner with account management, business development, operations, finance, legal, risk and procurement teams to achieve EnviroSolutions objectives
  • Manage a supplier management team promoting continuous development and taking responsibility for performance management of the team
  • Foster a culture of learning and talent development to drive improvement, customer satisfaction and increased innovation

About you:

  • Experience of Supply Chain and Waste Management
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain and operational processes
  • Experience in a commercially focused management role
  • Role based in Lutterworth but national travel is required
  • Possible future Europe focus (in line with EnviroSolutions business targets)
  • Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications / experience within business management environment


  • CIWM membership
